After moving from LA to NC (the supposed new hub of the industry, but which moved to Georgia when the NC governor reneged her promised tax incentive) there was little film work. Personal issues led me to FL soon after, alone (divorce). I found myself in an even worse place for film, but I had done some modeling for PSA commercials and as favors. I sent in some new pics to Model Mayhem and wa la, I've been modeling since 2012 (I think) on a semi-full-time basis. I'm told I'm photogenic. Apart from career talk, I love fashion and I even sew my own clothes (I can't cook, but I can sew). I love, love, love animals of all kinds. I had a pet Opossum that I rescued and taught to use dog pads--he thought he was a dog. I also volunteer at animals preserves when I can, such as the Wildlife Waystation in Tujunga in Los Angeles for indigenous and exoctic animals--no, they would not let me work with the lions. However, I did have one of the most awesome experiences of my life when I snuck into the 150 lion, lion den and sat face-to-face with a beautiful grown male lion in which we were only separated by a chain-link fence. I will never forget the awe of being so close for so long with the King of the Jungle. I do many shoots out of Orlando and elsewhere in FL--really depending, anywhere. I live beachside near Cocoa Beach, but coming from LA where it can take 15 mins to turn left, an hour drive or more is nothing for me. I am responsible and make my appointments on time (unless I get really lost upon which I will call for help). If I have to miss a scheduled shoot, such as recently when I got pneumonia, I gave as much notice as possible. No problem, and we're shooting on the 10th. It will be the 3rd time I'll be shooting with him, which leads me to how I work well with people, follow direction well, work with your vision, will add collaboration ideas only if it's Ok and have a great sense of humor--a little dark, but oh well. Finally, I love to create art! Via my own photography, of which I'm published, or helping with yours. That is the main reason I model.
